My trip of Penang #1 Going to Penang

We had to get up at 5 am because I had to arrive at the Narita international airport until 9 am. After waking up , I and my mother got on the train & Narita express train. Then we arrived at the airport at 8 am. While getting on the express train, I kept sleeping.

We waited for getting on the airplane of JAL until 10:40 am and we got on the airplane. Then airplane took off at 11 am.

It takes 5 hours from Narita to KL. So I read the book and watched the movies.

After getting on the airplane a few while later, we ate snacks and drank a lot of bottles of wine.

- Grilled chicken with spicy sause
- Smoked salmon
- Marinated seafood
- Poteto salada
- Salad by onion dressing
- Chestnut profiterole
- Roll and butter
I couldn't eat the dessert. But other of dishes were delicious. Of course I drank a lot of bottles of wine. After 5hours, I arrived in KL international airport. After immigration, we went to see duty free shops.




These were malaysian noodle and rice.


We waited for 2 hours. Then we got on the airport from KL to penang. It takes 1 hours.

While getting on the airplane and reading the book, one woman talked to me. She lives in Penang and she got on the airplane in order to go back to her home. She had been to Japan and she knew a little Japanese. But I wanted to talk with her in English. So I talked with her in English for 1 hour. She knew about Penang very well and she taught me that one festival will be hold on 1th of Feb. So I and my mother decided to go and see the festival.

After 1 hour, we finally arrived in Penang airport and got on the bus for 1 hour. Then we arrived at the hotel "Bayview beach resort hotel" at 22 pm. Before, I had stayed other hotel "Park Royal Grand Hotel of Penang". It was very excellent. The hotel that we stayed was good.


After checking in the hotel, we entered our room and took a rest. Tomorrow, we had to go out at 8am in order to go around Penang. So we slept at 1 am. Anyway, Penang is good. I was happy because I could visit in Penang again

Preparing to travel

Today, I got up at 6 am and then I started to preparing to travel. Yes,I will leave Japan tomorrow and I will come back from Penang on 6th of Feb.By the way,yesterday, I got tickets. I have to wake up at 5 am of tomorrow. But I finally will be able to go to Penang again. (I had been to Penang of last year.)I will write about my trip of Penang after coming back.

Take down

I am reading a new book "take down" today". This book is about cyber crime. Although I just started reading this book,the story is very interesting. By the way, Yesterday was special day for me. Why? I talked Mike by Skype. Before talking with Mike, I was afraid that I couldn't speak English well and understand Mike's speaking because My english is not good and I can't speak English well. Then the time when I would talk with Mike came. I could enjoy talking with him for almost 1 hours. I think that he slowly talked to me because he is very kind and smart. Anyway,I really enjoyed speaking English. I really thank him so much.

Where is my credit card?

I am stupid... Why? Ago a few days, I accessed the website of JR and ordered the tickets of Narita express by my credit card because I will leave Japan on 30th of Jan. Then, I planed to get 2 tickets at Harajyuku station. If I get tickets, I have to show my credit card and say the number of order. At first, I thought to go to Harajyuku by walk and buy something in there. I planed to get tickets after shopping. Today, I left my home at 1 pm and kept walking to Harajyuku for a hours and I bought things. So I went to Harajyuku station.Then I tried to get tickets. But.... I forgot my credit card. I saw my wallet again. Yes, I am stupid. I remembered that I put my credit card into other wallet at last night. So I gave up to get tickets and kept walking to my home for 1 hours. I arrived at my home at 3:40 pm...I was very tired because I walked a lot. Anyway,I have to go to the JR station tomorrow. I have to check my wallet before going to the JR stations.

The movies which I want to watch

Today, I kept downloading wave files of movies and uploading them on YouTube. I am very tired now.hahaha.

You know that I like movies so much because I often wrote movies on my blog.

Now, I have some of movies which I want to watch.

- "Anata wo wasurenai"(I don't forget you)

This is a true story of one dead Korean who tried to save drunk Japanese. I am sorry that the main character of this movie was dead. But I really respect him.

- babel

I like Japanese actor Koji Yakusyo and Cate Blanchette.So I want to watch.

- "natsu monogatari"(Once in a Summer)


You may know I like Korean movies and Lee Byung-Hun. So I watched his movies and dramas. I think that he is a good actor of Korean.

- "Little miss sunshine"

After the reviews and story, I really wanted to go to the theater in order to watch this movie at once. The movie looks like wonderful.

- "Ouku" ("Ooku" means rooms that women lived in Edo Castle.)

This movie is about women who lived in Edo Castle while The Edo era. I don't know about them. So I want to know them more.
- "The departed"

I didn't know about a detail story of this movie. But X taught me that it was very good! Then I find the website of this movie and read a story. The story looks like interesting and I like all of actors of this movie. X,Thanks for telling me!!!

The movie "Death note" & Suo's new movie

I waked up a little at 7 am.

I will eat this oatcakes that Mike send me and yogurt and drink a cup of coffee as a breakfast.

This movie is very good!!! I recommend!

You must know this movie's director "Masayuki Suo" because he made the movie "Shall we dance?"



He loves the movies of Ozu and he wanted to become a movie's director. Then he made some funny and interesting other movies. Do you know them? - "Fanshi dansu" - "Shiko funjatta " I like Suo's movies. So I want to the his next movie and the movie of "death note - the last name".

Wonderful DVD!!!

In the morning, I got a package. Then I saw who sent me it. Yes, Mike!!!!

There are a nice postcard and delicious sweets and one DVD in the box.




They are very wonderful. I will eat sweets tomorrow.

Most best thing is a DVD Mike sent me. It was a movie Mike might made. When I started watching the DVD, I kept smiling and laughing because the main character is very cute and musics are good!!! Mike, you can become a best director of the movie. I could feel the love of family and happiness while watching the DVD. The DVD became my treasure. You really sent me a wonderful DVD!!! Thanks, Mike.

Meiji shrine & wedding

I went to Meiji shrine yesterday by walk for 2 hours in order to feel nature because there are a lot of trees and a park.

This is Meiji shrine.



This place is very famous. Many foreigners come to visit Meiji shrine.

When I were in there, I met the man and woman were wedding of Japanese old style.







Recently, Japanese people doesn't often do wedding of Japanese old style. So I was lucky because I met them in Meiji shrine and I could see wonderful beauty of Kimono and a ceremony of Japanese old style.

MEGA MAC of a lot of calories

Japanese often go to Mcdonalds. Since a few week, new burger has been sold.

It is called MEGA MAC.



Many people want to eat it. But I don't want to eat it now.

Why?

Because I had watched the movie "The super size me".

The movie "mushishi"

In the past, I wrote about Japanese anime "mushishi" again.

I was taught "mushishi" by X. Then I watched all of anime "mushishi". After watching them, I tought that they are very interesting and excellent.

The movie of "mushishi" finished making in Japan. And it will be released soon.

Today, I saw the news about the movie "mushishi".According to the news, The movie "mushishi" catches 10 offers of overseas delivery from several countries.

My birthdaty

21 th of Jan was my birthday. After waking up, I got a wonderful present from Mike!!! Mike, Thank you so much!!!

They were a bottle of champagne and message card.

I can't express my joy.

I went out in order to have a lunch with my mother and brother. I ate a lot of Italian dishes.





After lunch, we went back to my home and eat a birthday cake and drink champagne that Mike sent me with them. The bottle of champagne tasted very good!!! Mike,Thank you!!!

My birthday of this year was very wonderful.

Disappeared my favorite food

Once, I wrote about my favorite food "Nattou". Yesterday, I went to the supermarket. Then I tried to buy "Nattou".

But..

All of "Nattou" have sold out at the supermarket.

What happen?

On sunday, one TV program about "Nattou" had broadcasted. They had said that if you eat "Nattou" twice a day, you can lose your weight and Nattou is good for a diet.

Yes, Japanese who want to lose their weights run to the supermarkets and they bought many "Nattou" after watching the TV program.

Therefore, "Nattou" disappear at the supermarkets. I have to eat only brown rice without my favorite food "Nattou".

Nagoya's local foods

I want to write about Nagoya's local foods. They are very different. But they are delicious.

Playing a game "Mahjong"

Have you ever played the game "Mahjong"?

When I was a college students, my friends played it. But I didn't play it because I didn't know the rule of "Mahjong".

But I am enjoying playing the game "Mahjong" now.

Why?

Because my father has a software of "Mahjong" and he enjoys playing "Mahjong" on his pc of his home. Then he taught me the rule of "Mahjong"

The game "Mahjong" of rule is very simple and the game is very interesting. In addition, my brain may become clever.

Japanese new year days #2

On new year day, I ate Osechi with my family after waking up. They were very delicious.

After eating Osechi, we ate the chocolate Mike sent me!!! It is very delicious. My family enjoyed eating it. Thanks, Mike!!!

By the way, I watched other countrie's TV program on TV for hours.

After watching them, My mother and I cooked "Mizutaki" as dinner. We enjoyed eating Mizutaki with my family and drinking a lot of wine.


I ate them too much. But they were very delicious.

Japanese new year days #1

I went to my father's home on 30th Dec. After going to there, I finally met my family.

Japanese people have a custom of doing a general year-end cleaning of both the inside and outside of their homes to greet the New Year. So I helped cleaning. Then I cook Japanese new year food "Osechi" with my mother.

- baked fishes and prawn,broccoli


- "kamaboko" and "dashimaki tamago","kobumaki"


- chikens and vegetabls,black beans


- tazukuri


My mother and me had cooked them for 3 hours. Japanese start eating Osechi while new year days. After that, we ate Japanese noodle "soba". It is common that Japanese eat "Soba" on New Year's Eve. Of course I ate this. This is "Tempura Shrimp cold soba". It was very delicious.


When it was 11 pm, we went to the temple "Atuta jingu". This temple is very famous.

When We arrived at there at 11:30 of New Year's Eve, there were a lot of people in order to enjoy a great New Year's Day and make wishes for the coming year. Of course we enjoyed together in there.

Coming back to Tokyo

Could you enjoy new year days?

I came back to tokyo 2 hours ago. I enjoyed new year days with my family and eating a lot of foods. I must gain a lot of weights. I am afraid that I know my weight.

I am tired now because I got on the express train for 2 hours while standing up. I will write about my new year days later.
