Charo episode12 - Sirius

On a gloomy Monday morning, there's a crowd in from of John's shop. Margherita and Charo are there, too. A burglar has broken in and is barricding himslef inside.

Charo: Look, Margherita!

Margherita: The burglar!

In a split second, a black shadow jumps on the burglar. So quick that nobody understands what has happend. It's the super police dog Sirius.

(applause)

Sirius: Arf!

The next day, Rosa's checking out the newspaper.

Rosa: Look! There's an article about yesterday's robbery. It says, "The wonder dog is to be given a medal from NYPD." Wow! Isn't this something?

Just then, a police officer and the Doberman enter the restaurant.

(Applause from the customers.)

Rosa: Hello, Chatherine! Congratulations!

Catherine: It wasn't me. It was Sirus.

Rosa: Hi, Sirius. How does it feel to be hero?

Sirius: Bow - wow!

Rosa: So sirius, shall I fix you something special? And extra reward?

I often listen their music at home. Of course, they are popular in Japan. Especially, I was so surprised because the members of "MONKEY MAJIK" are from Canada. But their Japanese is so great. If you listen to their song, you must think they are Japanese. When I listened to the song of them for the first time, I thought they were Japanese!! You can watch their lives on You tube. Please find it if you want to watch!



- The novels of Hideo Okuda

He is a famous writer. His works are popular now. The story is about the people suffering from troubles of their bodies. Then they went to the hospital of the main character Irabu doctor. If you read the books, you must be surprised because Irabu doctor is so eccentric and funny. Yes ,He looks like a child. But he helped people who suffering from troubles of the bodies. Then they could recover and solve their problems because of Irabu doctor. I think he is something! A few months ago, I knew him books for the first time. Then I really enjoyed his world.

Exactly, life always isn't perfect. Life is so difficult. But we must stand by ourselves and enjoy our lives. I don't like a sad story... After reading books, I feel strong and the books cheer me. I think it is enough that there are only a few people who understand me.



I found his English book. If you find it, please read it. I think you must think there is happiness around us and it is all right there we don't live all people. It is happy that there are only a few people who belive and understand us.

Now, I'm reading the English book "In the pool" in order to study English although I had read Japanese one.





Now, I have a friend who suffering from troubles. Then I told her about the novels of Okuda. After telling, she called me and she told me that she read the book. I think I will tell somebody who suffering from troubles.

Where's my new living place?

Hi, how are you? I am fine. Although I had been busy.

By the way, I want to change my living place. If I couldn't find my new living place, I have to renew a lease on Aug. So I will try to find the new apartment on July and prepare to be ready for my move soon.

Why?

I have some reasons...

- the rent

The rent is so expensive because I live in the place where is close to Shinjyuku Station. Of course, I can save the time to go to the office. But the company doesn't support the money of my apartment. In the past, old Japanese companies paid the money of the employee's living. But now, I think many companies stops paying the money to cost cut.

So I'd like to save money. If I lived in new apartment, I must get on the train for a few hours. But I don't mind. If I get on the train, I will just read the book or sleep. hahaha

- the noise



Because I live in the place where is close to the center of Tokyo, the noise is awful while midnight and weekend... Even the night... Young people gathered the convenience shop or supermarkets where are close to my apartment in the midnight and they shout!!! I can't believe it at all...

- the parks and natures

You know I love natures and parks. Unfortunately, there isn't a park around my apartment. So I sometimes get on the train for 30 mins and I enjoy feeling nature. If it is possible, I would like to live in the new apartment of Chofu station and enjoy natures.

You may read the article about Jindaiji. It is close to Chofu station. I like Chofu. So I may live in there.

Anyway, I have to find good apartments. I will see them after finish looking for them.

iPhone

Do you have a cellphone of Apple "iPhone"? When it was started selling in US and other, I really wanted to buy it. Many Japanese too. And finally, Japanese cellphone company "Soft Bank" will start to sell iPhone on July in Japan. So many websites and news said that a few days ago.

I heard that the percentage of Japanese who like Apple's product is higher. So there were many Apple's users when the company "Apple" was in trouble...

Anyway, I am lucky because the company of my cellphone is SoftBank. So I will be able to change the new cellphone!!! The current cellphone was bought 5 years ago... So there are not new functions in my cellphone. Of course, I can listen to the music and take photos or videos.

But my father often watches TV by his cellphone. He may be crazy because he sometimes watches TV by his cellphone while he sitting on the sofa. Of course, there is a new TV in front sofa at his home....

By the way, the computer that I bought for the first time was Apple's one. It was LC630. Have you ever watched the photo of LC630?

It wasn't expensive. I think the price was about 180,000 yen. In the past, the products of Apple were so expensive. I heard that they paid at least 1000,000 yen in order to get Apple's computers 15 years ago. Not beat around the bush, they were too expensive...

Anyway, I hope I get iPhone in the summer!

Charo episode11 - The Dream woman

It's the day of a street fair. After wandring around for a while, Charo stops in front of a very small tent. It looks inviting.

Charo: Wow... How small!

Charo peeps in. As he looks around, somebody picks him up.

Charo: Arf!

Andorra: It's all right. There's no need to worry.

It's the woman he saw in his dream.

Andorra: I was waiting for you, Charo.

Farmars markets of UK

I had known about farmers markets before I went to UK. But I didn't go to there when I went to UK. Because I didn't had a lot of time.... I am sorry...

I found Cheltenham's farmers markets.

Do you want to go to there? Or have you ever gone to there? Mike told me that Uk's people prefer organic foods. Japanese too.

A few year ago, I ate only vegetables and rices. Because I was interested in Yoga. Last year, I did yoga for a year, I realized that the nature food is most important. We sometimes ate junk foods. But it isn't healthy.

So I will try to eat fresh and organic foods. Of course, sometimes, I eat fish and meat.(Sashime etc.)

Charo Episode 10 - True birthday

One day, Charo finds Candy crying. He runs up to Her.

Charo: (panting) Hi,Candy. It's me...Charo. Are you crying?

Candy: Leave me alone.

Charo: But why are you so sad?

Candy: It's ... my birthday today.

Charo: Birthday. Congratulations!

Candy: Congratulations? No, there's nothing to congratulate about my birthday. That's why nobody is celebrating.

Again, Candy starts to cry.

Candy: Last year, I had a goregeous birthday party. A big tall cake, lots of food, lots of presents... Everything was just perfect. But this year, Chris and his father are gone. Both of them have forgotten about me. What's going on?

Candy: I see? What can you see?

Charo: I'm sorry.

Candy: You'll know exaxtly how I feel when it's your birthday.

Charo: No... I won't.

Dread: What? Something wrong?

Charo: No... Thanks, Dread.

Dread: It's late. Get some sleep.

My trip of Kagoshima #4

I want to write about the trip of Kagoshima again.

My father and I had gone to many places of Kagoshima by the bus.

- Nagasaki bana

There are some shops and gardens, a zoo around there. I took photos of my dad in there.And my dad took the photo of me.



Although the season wasn't spring, I could see beautiful flowers. In the past, Japanese often had gone on the wedding trip. I heard that from my dad and mom. But they had gone to Guam!!!Wow. I heard My dad wanted to go to Guam!!! Now, he doesn't want to go to other countries... I can't understand him at all.

- Ibusuki city and sand bath



Sand bath of Ibusuki is famous. It was first time for me. Many people enjoyed them. Of course, me too. I heard that they can't put up with sand bath for about 10 mins. But I could enjoy sand bath for 40 mins. I think I could enjoy sand bath because I did hot yoga before.

My dad was scared of sand bath and he gave up to sand bath.hahaha

You know that I love hot springs. Of course, I went to the hot spring of the hotel after enjoying sand bath. Then I was surprised because the water of the hot spring is ocean water! I heard that all of hot springs of Ibusuki are sea water. They are different from other hot springs. So you have to take a shower and wash the body and your hair after entering hot springs of Ibusuki.



- the factory of satsumaage "Satsuma an"


Satsuma age of Kagoshima is a famous food. I heard that Takamori Saigo loved satsuma age. Although there is a statue of him in Ueno zoo and there is a different statue in Kagoshima city. By the way, I didn't like satsuma age before. But I love it at once when I ate satsuma age. It was different from satsuma age of Tokyo. I wanted to buy a lot of them. But they are made from fish and they have to be keept in the refrigerator for a few days. So I gave up buying many satsuma age because I must not eat all of them for few days... So I bought a few them at the factory and I kept them in fridge. Of course, my dad too.

- the factory of Shochu and gold mountain

We went to the one Japanese restaurant and enjoyed having a lunch.



Then we went to the factory of Shochu. Shochu of Kagoshima is made from sweet potato and kouji. I can drink other shochu... But Shocu of Kagoshima smells awful... So My dad and I couldn't drink them at all...

After seeing the factory of Shochu, we went to the gold mountain. In the past, there were a lot of gold mountains in Kagoshima and people found the gold in undergrounds. I think it was hard to work in the underground while I saw the factory. They couldn't see any lights and the works were so hard... I respect them. There is a temple and the gold statue in the underground.



Golds were exported to Chinese, Uk etc. Many people of other countries had lived in Kagoshima and Nagasaki. And Shimazu had a lot of money and they imported to the dishes of Chinese, silks etc. Before the trip of Kagoshima, my mother asked us to buy the gold!!!! Indeed, there are expensive things in the stores. But we didn't buy them. hahaha.

Then we went back to the hotel. There are a lot of beautiful dishes in there. They were called "Satsuma yaki".

People of Kagoshima had learned how to make them from Chinese and UK,Portuguesa etc.







- The garden and houses of Shimazu "Sengan en"

You know I love gardens. So I really wanted to go to there. We had a luxury lunch in there and we went around the gardens and many houses.





- The museum "Syuko sen kan"



This museum was built by Shimazu. You can enter to there for free. There are a lot of exhibits in there. I enjoyed seeing them for 2 hours with my dad. If you go to there, you will learn about the history of Japan and Kagoshima etc. I want to go to there again.

- the factory of the glass "Satusma kiriko"

The glass of Kagoshima is famous.







We watched the way glass blowers made glassware for about 30 mins. It is so excellent and their skill is wonderful! The glasswares are so beautiful.If you have a money, please buy them! They aren't expensive too much.

My trip of Kagoshima #3

Do you like the movie "Mononoke hime" of Hayao Miyazaki?



Of course, I love it so much. By the way, do you know that he imagined the story of the movie when he had gone to Yakushima island of Kagoshima? There are a lot of islands of Kagoshima and natures. Yakushima is a famous island. But I couldn't go to there when I went to Kagoshima. I was sorry.



But I found many goods of Hayao Miyazaki's works.



I wish I will go on a trip of Yakushima island someday. Do you want to go there?

British Tourist Authority

Finally, I finished testing programs. Oh, I can study English!!!

Yesterday, I went to the British Tourist Authority again. The place is close to Tameike station. Before I had gone to UK last year, I went to there with my mom.

I told my mom that I went to there 2 weeks ago. She wanted the travel guide books of 2008. So I went to there yesterday.

Unfortunately, British Tourist Authority is closed on weekend. If it would be opened on weekend, I'll often go to there. If it is possible, I'd like to go to UK again this year and stay longer. Anyway, I have to save money.hahaha

To tell the truth, I am thinking that I'll change my living place. The apartment is close to Shinjyuku. But the rent is too expensive although the room is small... So I hope I'll move on July or Aug. I don't care that it is far from the office. I would like to save money and try to put up with getting the train for a few hours.hahaha

My trip of Kagoshima #2

Hi,I am keeping to test programs today. I wonder when I will be able to finish...

By the way, I want to write about my trip of Kagoshima. Yes, I had been to there on Feb with my dad.

This is Sakura island of Kagoshima.



The landscape was beautiful. I could see the oceans in there. I met some American and Australian. They enjoyed it too.

We can go to there by a ferry. We got on the ferry for 13 mins. The price is 150 yen. So people of Kagoshima often use the ferry.

While getting on the ferry, I talked with American. He came from Frolida and he said that he would keep traveling for 3 months!!! I envy him.hahaha

Then we went to Kirishima city. The hot spring of Kirishima is famous. In addition, Shochu, porks,etc.

We stayed in the hotel "hotel Kyocera".

The hotel was luxury. There are hot springs and shops, restaurants, spas etc. I hope I will stay in there again. I heard that big Japanese companies built the office around the hotel. So I met many other countries. They used this hotel for business. After enjoying hot springs, I went to the bar of this hotel. I drank a cup of wine and read the book for 1 hours. The view from the bar was good. Of course, the dishes too. My dad and I ate Kagoshima foods too much!!! And beer too.hahaha

New Japanese movie director - Hitoshi Matsumoto

Hi,folks! How are you? I am fine.

Today, I want to write about one movie.

The title is "Dai-nihonjin". It means a big Japanese man.funny...




This movie's director is Hitoshi Matsumoto. His is an also comedian. His comedian's name is "Down Town". Since I was 14 years, I have known him. Yes, new generation of Japanese comedy. Indeed, he is most popular among young Japanese. He is called "The boss of New generation of Comedy" in Japan. I think it got to be true!

Finally, he made a movie by himself. Last year, the movie was released. Then I watched it last month. Some of reviews weren't good. But I like his movie and I could laugh while watching his movie! I think that the comedy is so difficult. There aren't any comedians who make all of people laugh. Especially, his comedy is black. So I like UK's comedy. For exmaple,"Extras","The IT Crowd","Little Britain" I think Japanese public TV "NHK" don't allow to broadcast these TV programs. So many people don't often watch TV programs of NHK. The gap between NHK and us is big! hahaha (I'm sorry!!!! But I think comedians are so smartest.)

The movie festival of Cannes

Now, I often check the website of the movie festival "cannes". It is held now.

You know that I love movies and I love Sean Penn. He is attending as a jury president. I found some movies that I would like to watch at once.

I love the director of this movie "Steven Soderbergh" and the main character "Benicio Del Toro". Although I watched the movie "21G", Benicio Del Toro was so nice.
After watching the movie, I like him so much.

- "I Am Because We Are"



This is a documentary movie. I love true stories. Especially, I have to watch this movie and know that terrible things and understand children.

Recently, I think Japanese movies are better. I like the actress of this movie "Kyoko Koizumi".She was a singer. But recenlty, she is popular as an actress.

- Yamano anata tokuichi no koi

This movie is released now. Tuyoshi Kusanagi whom I love played as a main character. I think he is a good actor. For example, his TV programs(drama) are popular. If you have a chance, please watch his TV drama! I hope that you like!

Charo episode9 - The strange dream

Charo is still down in Dread's nest after being terribly seasick. Shota appears in his dream.

Charo: Shota was crying sometimes. He was lonely. His mother died last year.

Shota: ごめんね、チャロ。 これは二人の秘密だよ。お父さんには内緒なんだ。

Charo: He was sad, but he was hiding it. He tried to seem okay.

Charo: One day, Shota said that we were going on a trip to America with his father. Then, Shota's grandma gave us a lucky charm. I'm wearing it. It's here... on my collar.

Shota: チャロ、よかったね。おそろいだよ。

Charo: In America, we were having great fun.

Shota: 見て、チャロ。ほっとドックのソーセージがあんなに大きい！

Charo: Every day there was a surprise. But I was left alone... at the airport... What happened?

An airplane flies over Charo. He madly runs after it.

Today, I was late for the office.

The answer is 9:30 am....

I think that the reason has got to be watch the movie until 3:40 am. hahaha.

Then I took a shower and went to the office. I arrived at my office at 11 am. I know I'm not a good employee....

Anyway, I am glad because tomorrow is a holiday! I'll take a rest enough!

Find the bugs!!!

Today, I arrived at my office at 11 am. Because I had gone to the hospital. Last week, I had checked my blood. So before checking my blood, I had stopped drinking wine!

The result was good.



So I will drink wine!!!

Charo episode8 - The tragic boat Ride

So now, Charo is on board a bout full of Japanese decorations. It is Charo's very frist boat ride, so everything is new to him.

Charo:うわーーー、すごいや

He peeks around but is very careful not to be noticed. Suddenly, he thinks he hears some Japanese.

Charo:今の日本語かな？

A Japanese cook is explaining sometning to another cook.

Japanese cook: Okay, this daikon. Japanese radish. This one is shoga. It's pickled ginger. So people call it gari.

Cook: Oh, okey, chief. This is daikon. and this is shoga or gari, right?

Charo:やっぱり日本の船だったんだ。すごいや！

Charo continues to explore and wanders into another section boat.

Passenger1: Wow! I've never eaten so much sushi in all my life!

Passenger2: Me, neither! With the beautiful NY view and all this sushi, this is just awesome!

Here, Charo peeps out a little too much. One of them notices him.

Passenger1: Look! What a cute dog!

The young woman comes over to Charo and picks him up.

Passenger1: He's still a puppy!

Passenger2: Maybe he belongs to one of the crew members.

Passenger1: Hey, little puppy, do you want to go out to the deck with us? I think we are just about to pass by the status of Liberty.

The boat seems to have already traveled far. At least, that's what Charo thought.

Passenger1: That's it! That's the Statue of Liberty!

Passenger2: I'll take a picture of you and this puppy with the statue in the back.

Passenger1: Thanks. That'll be nice. Look,pup, look at the camera!

Charo:Arf!

Passenger: Oh,he's so adorable!

The boat is getting closer and closer to the famous Statue of Liberty. But just then, Charo has a strange feeling. The boat isn't going out to the ocean at all.

Charo:あれ？変だな。なんか戻っていく。

Passenger1: Okay,sweetie. I'll let you go.

Just at that moment, Charo sees everything around him go round and round in circles.

Charo:気持ち悪い。。。

Charo is seasick. Terribly seasick. He has never felt this bad before.

Meanwhile, Dread and Margherita are still at the pier. They are too empty-hearted to leave the place.

Margherita: Oh, no...look!!!

Dread: What...what is it?

Margherita: The boat. It's coming back.

As soon as the boat parks, a crewman dumps Charo onto the pier.

Dread: Charo!!!

Crewman: Now don't you smuggle in again! you dog!

Dread and Margherita dash towards Charo.

Margherita: Charo,Charo! What happened to you? Open your eyes! Eake up!

Charo:うーん。

Dread: Are you all right? Are you hurt?

Charo is completely done in. It seems that Dread and Margherita will have to take care of Charo... for just a little bit longer.

Japanese anime "Golgo 13"

Well, you know I love Japanese anime. So I sometimes buy anime and enjoy reading them.

Yesterday, I watched the one TV program. Then I knew one anime.

The anime is "Golgo 13". This anime is so famous. But I don't read them at all. After watching TV, I realized that the character of the anime is so funny!



So I bought them in the morning. This anime is still published. I need time to read all of them! I will write about it after reading them.

How cold!!! Well, I feel cold now. Since yesterday, the weather of Japan is strange... Last month,it was too hot. So I put on only T-shirt. However,it seems that winter came back again. According to the weather news, typhoon will be coming now. I miss the nice weather!!!

Charo episode7 - Charo,Jump!!!

One day, Dread runs up to Charo and Margherita. It seems like he has something to say.

Dread:Charo, you're here. Good. I brought you some great news.
Charo:News?
Dread:Yeah,listen.Your country,Japan is connected to our countr, the U.S.,by ocean.
Charo:Ocean?
Dread:Yeah, a big, big ocean. Between the U.S and Japan.
Margherita:Wait a minute.That means he can go back to Japan by boat?
Dread:Exactly. You hop onto the right boat,cross the ocean, and you'll be in Japan.
After crossing several avenues, the three dogs get to where the fiver lows. Upstream, they see a pier.

Dread:See,Charo? There's a boat.
Charo:Where?
Dread:Way up there.
Margherita:Could it be a Japanese boat?
Dread:Let's find out.
They run ahead to the pier where the big white boat is staying.

Margherita:Bingo! The sigh says "sushi!. It's got to be a Japanese boat.
Dread:Hey,Charo,see that terrace? Go up there and jump!
Charo:From there? It's high...
Dread:Not that high. Just make sure you're running fast enough when you jump.
Charo:Yes, I will try.
Margherita:Oh, Charo, you are so...(Too emotinal for words) Okay, I'll bark and make a scene to noboday will notice when you jump.
Dread:Good idea. Charo, are you ready?
Charo:Yes.
Margherita:Well, then. I suppose it's goodbye. Oh, Charo, we'll miss you so much.
Charo:I will miss you,too. Thank you. I want to say more but I can't say it well.
Margherita:That's okay,Charo. We understand.
Dread:Okay,that's enough. Now move.
Dread gives Charo a light push. Charo runs to the staircase.


Margherita:Goodby, Charo!
Margherita makes sure Charo gets to the terrace...and starts to bark.

Margherita:Bow-wow-wow-wow!
Creman:What is it? Get out of here,crazy dog!
Margherita keeps barking and gets everyone's attention.

Dread:Charo, now jump!
Charo.Yes. Arf!
Charo makes a long jump. He falls onto the top deck near the stern of the boat.

Dread:Good job!
Just then,with a loud whistle, the boad starts to leave.

Charo:Goodbye,Margherita. Goodbye, Dread

watching movies

Well,I went to Nagoya & fish market. But I didn't go to other place because there were a lot of people in famous place and they had to wait for long time. So we watched movies.

The movies that I watched were here.

- "Charlotte Gray"

you know that I love Cate Blanchett. She is so smart and beautiful. I saw this movie many times. I don't know how many times I had watched this movie. But after watching this movie, I always impressed. U especially like Billy Crudup. His character was a teacher and he tried to fight French government and save children of Judaism. Then the woman who Cate Blanchett played came from London to become a spy of UK and met him. At first, he didn't believe her at all. But later , she lived his father as the maid at his big house together. She took care of the childrent of Judaism and worked together. She tried to save them. Then they understood there were soul mates. After the war, she was going to meet him.

I think this movie was so interesting and I think about the war and peace while watching this movie.

Hello,how are you? I am a little tired because there were train's accident in the morning. So I had to wait for the train for 1 hour... The subway was so crowded and there were a lot of people who tried to go to the offices. Anyway, I want to write about one funny TV program.

The title is "charo". The story is about little dog where got lost in US and he tried to go back to Japan. I bought the text book too. The story is interesting and I can learn English too!

Fish market "Ishiki"

Hi,how are you? I am fine. I didn't upload my blog at all. By the way, now I am in the office. I will write about the big fish market "Ishiki" where I went to go. Last month, I went to Nagoya to meet my parents. And we went to the fish market to eat Japanese food "Sushi" by the car.

Ishiki is famous as seafoods. After 2 hours, we arrived at the fish market. Then we went to Japanese restaurant "Musashi" where is famous as delicious foods.



Already, there were a lot of people that they wanted to eat Sushi!. So we had to wait for 1 hour to eat Sushi. Then we finally ate sushi!!! How huge and delicious!!!

I had never eaten the huge and delicious sushi! The price was 1550yen!!! I think it wasn't expensive because the fishes were fresh!!! If you have a chance,please go to there and eat seafoods.

Charo episode6 - Snow Dream

One day,Charo is walking by the park and a ball flies right in front of him. He jumps for the ball and catched it. At the same time, a charming little dong comes out from the bushes. It's the same dog he saw the other day.

Candy:Hey! That's mine.Give it back.

Charo:I'm sorry.I didn't mean to...
Candy:That's okay. Just give it back.
Charo:yes.Here.
Chris: Candy!
The voice comes from beyond the bushes.

Candy:Arf,arf. I'm here!
Charo:So your name is Candy.
Candy:Y...yes. And you?
Charo:Charo.
Candy:Oh.
Charo:Candy...that's a nice name. I've never seen any dog...like you...in Japan.
Candy:You're from another country?
Charo:Yes,I 'm from Japan.
Chris:Candy!!!
Candy:Chris is calling. I'd better get going. Thanks for catching the ball.
charo wants to say something, but Candy has already run back. He watches her jump cheerfully around Chris.

A few days later,Charo has a dream. In the dream, he is explaining to somebody how he met Shota.

Charo: It was snowing that day. I was so cold and hungry. Shota came and ound me.
Shota:かわいそうに。。。。このままだと死んじゃう。。。。
Charo:But shota just went away. I was sad. I thought I was dying. Then Shota,again! With a sausage!
Sota:ふふふ。かわいいなーー
Charo:Shota picked me up and took me home. He wanted to keep me. But Shota's father said no.
Shota:ぼくがいないと、この子死んじゃうよ。
Charo:Shota's father said nothing and went to his room. But shota didn't give up. He held me and sat outside.
Shota:安心して。飼ってもらえるまでがんばるからね。
Charo:Suppertime came but Shota stayed with me. Snow was falling.After a while, Shota's father came out. He said, "You win, Shota.". We were very, very happy. And Shota gave me a name.
Shota:きみは耳が茶色と白だからチャロだ。チャロ、どう？
Charo: I was excited. I had a name! I barked! Shota laughed, too... Right? Shota?

Charo wakes up. He is at Dread's nest in New York.

Dread:You're a noisy one, even when you're sleep?
Charo:Dream?
Dread:Huh?
Charo:Dread,I am going back to Japan.
Dread:What?
Charo:Shota did everything for me. Now,I will do everything to go back to Shota.
Dread:Huh?
Charo:I can do it. Yes,I can. And I have to. I have to get back home.

Charo episode5 - Friends

Charo and margherita are walking down the streets of New York. Soon,the tow dogs are in front of a store.

Margherita: So,here we are. Now stay right beside me and don't let get lost!
(very slowly)Stay... with me.

charo:Okay,I understand.I ... stay with ... you.
Margherita:Arf,arf!
John:Hey,Margherita. You came shopping for Rosa again. Good dog, good dog!
Margherita: Art.
Margherita:He's john.He's one of my best friends.But the day I met him,wow,he seemed so mean!
Charo:Really?
John: Now let's see. Basil...shrimp...cheese...okay.It's the usual cheese,right?
Margherita:Arf,arf!
John: Oh yeah,got it.
John picks up one thing after another,comes back and puts them into Margherita's basket.
John: I know it's a bit heavy but you can carry it,right? You're such a strong girl.
Margherita:Arf!Thanks,John. See you!
John opens the door and the two dongs are out on the streets again. Charo looks back and sees John still waving at them.

Charo: How did you become friends?
Margherita:Well,it's a long story. You see, Rosa once caught a terrible cold. She was runnning a hight fever but we had to keep the restaurant open. She checked the stock of food and there were several things missing.So, I took of to the store with Rosa's small note in my basket. It was pouring outside. At first, John just kicked me out into the rain.

Charo: Did he really?
Margherita: Oh, yes. Still, I didn't give up. I waited and waited , until finally John came out, noticed my basket and the note,and apologized. That was when we made friends.

Charo: That's great!
Margherita: Yes, friends are great. They care for you and support you, not because they want something in return, but because they love you.
Charo: Yes. Right.
Margherita: And it was Rosa who taught this to me. She was the one who took me in, you know.
Charo: Took...you...in? Then you were...?
Margherita: Yes. I was abandoned. But Rosa found me, brought me to her place, and fed me. She really, really cares for me. That's why I always want to help her.
Charo:...I was abandoned,too.
Margherita: Oh, I thought you were just lost.
Charo: No... at the begining. I was left in the park. Shota saved me.
Margherita: Oh, then we're in the same boat. Friends.
Charo: Yes, friends.
Just then, Margherita spots a wonderfully charming puppy.

Margherita: Wow. Look at her. Isn't she something!!

Charo sees the cute little dog held in the arms of a slender boy. Charo: Her ears...so pretty.

At this time, Charo has no idea that this charming dog would become one of his very best friends.

Charo episode4 - Merry Margherita

It's a bright, sunny morning. A loud voice echoes from inside the Italian restaurant.

Margherita: Okay,okay. Oh, don't you worry. Everything is going to be just fine.

Dread:Here comes the noisy one.

Charo:Who?

Dread:Margherita. She lives here, at the restaurant. Sh's got a big mouth, and she sticks her nose into everything.

Charo: Margherita... Sounds like pizza.

Dread:(lightly laughs)

Margherita comes out with a shopping basket hanging around her neck. She sees Dread.

Margherita: Hey, Dread, I haven't seen you for quit a while. How've you been?
(She winks but Dread turns aside, not waiting to be involved.)
Margherita: Oh don't act like that. I thought we were friends, no? Come on, why don't you give me a nice smile and talk for a change?

Dread:Never thought you were my friend.

Margherita: So you do hear me. Good! Anyway, what a wonderful day! Look at the beautiful... Oh my oh my! Who is this little one, he's so cute! Hey, what's your name? Never seen you before, have I?

Charo:あ。。。。あん？

Margherita: Yes I'm talking to you, little price. Oh, what a sweet thing!

Charo just stares at her, with hiou mouth open. Finally he say...
Charo: Ahhh....おばさん？

Margherita: What's that? What did you say? (to nobody) well,what ever. I'm Margherita. Call me that ,Okay?

Charo: Uhm...Could you speak more slowly...please?

Dread: He just came from Japan. Your machine-gun talk is too fast for him.

Margherita: Oh, my. you came all the way from Japan? Un-be-leee-vable. O-kie-do-kie. My name is Margherita. Mar-ghehe-ree-tah. And what's you name, darling?

Charo: Charo,my name is Charo.

Margherita: That's a nice name...Charo. And may I ask you something, Charo? Whatever happened to you owner family?

Charo: Uhm... They went back. To Japan.

Margherita: What!? Oh, poor thing! Charo, you were abandoned.

Charo:A...ban...doned?

Margherita: You know, bye-bye. Sayonara.

Charo: No! I'm just lost.

Margherita: Whatever it is , it's terrible.But don't you worry. You've got Margherita here. You see? I'm your friend!!!

Dread is getting tired of Margherita's talk. He lies down and sighs.

Margherita: I've got an idea. I'm going shopping. How would you like to come with me?

Charo: Shopping? Dogs...shop?

Margherita: Of course! Dogs can shop, easy.

Charo:へぇ。。。

Margherita:If you're going to live here you should know the way around.So come on, Charo, follow me.(Starts walking.)

Charo quickly asks Dread for advice.

Charo: What do you think?

Dread: Why not? You'll get to see the City. Good chance to learn.

Charo:...Okay.

Margherita: New York, New York

Charo episode3 - Sweet sausage blues

The next morning, Charo wakes up in a back alley. No, he's not in a dream. Just then something hits the ground right in front of Charo. It's a bagle.

Dread:Eat.
Charo:おじさん
Dreat:What? You called me?
Charo:うん
Dread:Dread. My name is Dread.
Charo:(in a small voice) Dread...Thank you, Dread.

Charo jumps right to the bagel and muches. He hasn't eaten anything for such a long time.

Dread: And you?
Charo:?
Dread: What's your name?
Charo:(munching) Charo. I'm Charo.
Dread:Charo,huh? Okay,Charo, you feel strong enough to walk now?
Charo:Yes.
Dread:Come on,then.
Charo:Where?
Dread:You've got to live by yourself,right?
Charo:Yes...
Dread:Then there's a lot to learn. Come with me.

Charo follows Dread,wondering where they're going. Soon they come to the door of a restaurant kitchen.

(A woman comes out.)

Rosa: Dread!! I almost thought you weren't coming. And hey,you've got company!

Rosa is the person who runs the restaurant. Charo is struck by the charming way she looks.

Rosa: So, you're still a little puppy.Wait,I'll bring something special for you.
Dread:She always does this, you know.
Sharo:She's kind.
Dread:Humph.

Rosa comes back from the kitchen and tosses a sausage to Charo.

Rosa:You like it? I'm glad,baby. It's all yours. A nice-to-meet-you gift. Ciao!

(Charo suddenly seems sad and sits in front of the sausage. Dread is watching him, while eating his share of leftovers.)

Dread:What's the matter? You don't like sausage?
Charo: I love them.
Drean: Then eat.
Charo:Yes.

Charo brings his mouth to the sausage, but he can't see it well. His eyes are filled with tears.

Dread: Now what?
Charo:Sausage. Shota gave me sausage, too. when we first met.
Dread: Who's Sota?
Charo: My owner. I was just born. I thought I was dying, I was so hungry. Shota came and took me in. He fed me and saved my life.

Suddenly Charo starts to cry. Dread seems embarrassed. He isn't really good around sad, crying puppies. Finally Charo sheds his last tear.

Dread: Feeling better?
Charo: Yes. Thank you.
Dread: Then, eat.

But Charo just looks at the sausage. He then takes it in his mouth, walks over and drops it beside Dread.

Dread:What?
Charo:Let's eat together!
Dread:Thanks but no thanks. It's yours, boy. Eat whenever you can,whatever you can. That's rule number one in this city.

Dread goes back to his own plate. At this moment, Charo realizes that somehow being close Dread makes him feel safe.

Charo episode2 - Far from Japan

Charo is wandering around town. He feels so tired that he squats down by a fence.

Parking lot attendant:Hey! Where'd you come from? This isn't place to rest.
Charo:Woof!
Parking lot attendant: This is the gate of a parking lot. You're blocking the way.
Charo: Woof woof!
Manhattan is no longer a friendly town to Charo. he moves, but his legs feel so heavy.
Charo: I'm hungy...(whimper)
Yes, Charo is hungrier than ever. But when he reaches the next crossing, he stops and looks up in amazement. The tall building are all being lit up. And one of them seems familiar.

Charo: あ、あの高い日ビル。翔太ととまってホテルの近くにあったやつだ。翔太が探しにくるかも。いってみよう。

Down the street, the Chrysler Building is shining. Charo gets to 42nd St. and sees the hotel. He happily runs ahead but...

Doorman: Hey, you can't come in here. Shoo! Shoo!!
Gharo: Let me in. I was here before. Arf!
Doorman: Go! Get going.

Again Charo is kicked out. He now sees that a dog can't get in palces like this, unless hi is with a human. He's all alone now. What can he do? He stumbles into the back alley of the hotel and lies down.

Charo:イタッ！

There, a great big boxer.

Charo: Big dog...
Dread: Hey, who do you think you are? This is my territory.

Charo: I'm sorry.
Dread: You'd better be.
Charo: Errr....sir..?
Dread:...Huh?
Charo:Which way is Japan?
Dread:Japan?
Charo:How long does it take to Japan?
Dread:What?
Charo:If I walk, how long?

The big dog can't believe what he's just heard.

Dread:Japan is ...far.
Charo:It takes days?
Dread:....
Charo:Months?
Dread:...You came from Japan?
Charo:Yes. I got lost. At the airport. I was going back to Japan.
Dread:But now you can't. Not any more.
Charo:Why?
Dread:Dogs can't get on the airplanes,not by themselves,you understand?
Charo:Arf!
Dread:Japan is far far far away.For you,it'll take more than a lifetime.
Charo:Life...time?
Dread:Yeah. That means you'll be dead. Listen,you've got to learn to live here. Forget about Japan and get used to it here.

The big boxer starts to walk again.

Charo:うそだ、うそだ。Shota...Shota...(whine)

But at that moment...

Dread:Okay,okay. I'll help you,but only for today.

Dread,big boxer,carries Charo gently in his mouth and moves on. Charo sees the city lights moving back and forth,until comfortably,he feels himself pass out.

Charo episode1 - Lost in the Airport

This is JFK airport in NY. It's one of the world's largest and busiest airport. It' a calm spring afternoon. Today, something unusual is about to happen.

Old lady: What's taking my girl so long to come out?
Airport staff: Is your pet a dog?
Old lady: A dog? You must be joking! I hate dogs. They bark too much. My shirley is a beautiful snake, with very beautiful stripes indeed!
Airport staff: Oh, I see.
Old lady: That's it! That yellow pet cage over there! I wonder what's wrong...
Old lady: Oh, my! There's a dog in my cage!

Hello,friends. You have just met the hero of our story. The name of this little white dong is Charo.

The guards come after Charo.

Charo is a Japanese dog. He came to the US on a vacation trip with his owner Shota and his father. But something went wrong. At that very moment they were on an airplane, heading back home. On the other hand, Charo has found himself alone in a big, big airport...

Lady dog: Hey, what's the matter? Are you in trouble?
Charo: yes... help...please.
Lady dog:Sure, but first, tell me. What's wrong?
Charo: I don't know... I was... in the airplane. But suddenly I'm here. What happened?
Lady dog:Where were you supposed to go?
Charo:To... to Japan. With Shota. He loves me.
Lady dog: Sounds like there was a big mix-up. Hey, you're completely lost.
Charo:Lost?
Lady dog: This is NY, little doggie. And doggies aren't allowed on airplane just by themselves. Poor thing. you'll never get back to Japan.

(running footsteps)
The guards come back again, still looking for Charo.

Lady dog:Hey, it's dangerous here. You'd better run. There should be some kind of a car outside. Jump into one of them, and you'll be safe. At least, safter than this place.
Charo:Okay. Thank you! Arf!
Charo finds a small pickup truck that's just about to leave.
After a while, Charo sees the Manhattan skyscrapers approaching.

Charo:うわーーー、なんて大きいんだろうー
And this is the begining of Charo's wonderful adventures.

Kogoshima #1

Hi! How are you? I am fine although I didn't upload my blog.... Why? Because, my laptop was finally broken.... So I can't access the internt in my home... How are you? I am fine. Now, I have to check about OpenSocial API Blog.

By the way, I went to the pub "HUB" of Shinjyuku on Friday of last week alone. I had often gone there. It was first time after the trip of UK.

I ordered fish&chips and beer.



But....

Fish&Chips of "HUB" wasn't delicious. Before going to the trip of UK, I felt it was delicious.

But I can't feel it is delicious....

Mike is right.

All of Japanese restaurant aren't good. I think fish & chips that we ate in UK was best and delicious...

I miss fish& chips of UK.

My trip of England #10 Apple rooftop & the real pub!!!

After having a lunch and seeing a nice landscape, we got on the tube again because I 'd like to go to one place.
Yes, Apple rooftop!!!





Mike took us to there again.hahaha. Mike,thank you so much!!!



I watched the video of the live of the Beatles in this building on TV again and again. I think that people who could see their live in the real were lucky!!! I was very impressed when I saw Apple roof top.

Then Mike guided us around London. My mother loves shopping. So her walking was faster than us.hahaha. Anyway, Mike,thank you for guiding us around London. After shopping, we came back to the hotel because my mother was so tired. (She fastly walked to enter many stores....) So we took a rest in the hotel. After taking a rest, I went to the pub "The Worlds End" of Camden Town with Mike!!! I was so excited because I wanted to go to the pub of UK!!!! If you want to go to there, check this.









This pub is so huge and nice. I was so surprised because one woman sat down on the pub. I asked Mike about it. The pub is popular in UK. So people goes to there alone. Wow.

If I lived in UK, I will go to there every nights!

Anyway, we drank beer,cider,port.



The beer of UK is so different from Japanese. But it is more delicious. Of course, cider & port too. We talked about a lot of things while drinking beer. For example, about tax of UK. Japanese tax is 0.5%. But UK's tax is 17% except foods and books. I heard that UK's health system and welfare system are better than Japan and America.

Especially, Japanese pension system is destroyed. You may know about it....

Anyway, I can understand about tax of UK. I think Japanese government have to try the system of UK.

When I went to the rest room, I found the poster!!!



Wow. I love madonna & Guns and roses. If I go to UK again, I'd like to go to this pub!Mike, thank you! I could enjoy with you in the pub!!!! I will write about the next day of my trip later!!!

My trip of England #9 Fish& chips and wonderful landscape

After going to Abbey Road, we went to the store of "The beatles".


Of course, Mike took us to there. If I had a lot of money and I were rich, I would bought many goods.

When I bought some goods, I was so surprised. Because clerks behind the counters were Japanese. They stays in London to study English.

Oh, I forgot the most important thing. When I had met Mike, he gave me to the stamp of The beatles and his CD!!! They are my treasure.

Then I left the store, Mike found the store of Elvis. My mother loves him. So we entered there. She was so glad! Of course, me too!

Then we went to the South bank centre to have a lunch. We got on the tube and got off at Charing Cross station. This place was so nice and huge. Mike said that concerts or opera are hold on there. Then we had a lunch!!! The restaurant is "Canteen". What did I eat???

Of couse, Fish & Chips!!!! And Cider!!!!

They were so delicious!!!!
Especially, The vinegar of UK is better than Japanese vinegar.It is more delicious. (I will looking for the vinegar of UK in Japan.) And the service of the restaurant was so fantastic. If you go to there, you must have a lunch or a supper.

Some people says that the food of UK is not good. But it isn't true. I ate fish&chips and English breakfast,chinese,pizza. They are so delicous. While eating, we enjoyed talking together.

After lunch, he said that the view of this hall's top was so good. So we took the stairs and arrived at the top floor.

Yes, Mike is right.

The landscape was so beautiful.

I could see Thames and classical buildings,the brige etc.






We saw the nice view for a while. Then my mother wanted to go to shopping. I will write about it later.

What movie?

It is "Volver".



I love the director "Pedro Almodvar" for a long time. So I watched his movies many times.

But this movie "Volver" is most wonderful. I watch this movie 2 times on the theater. I was really impressed.

I recommend it! I will buy the DVD of "Volver".
