The summer of Japan was over.This summer was strange and too hot because of the global warming.

By the way, I didn't upload my blog because I am lazy and this summer was too hot...hahaha

When I had gone to Nagoya, my parents and I had gone the flower garden　"" of Nagoya port!

Although it was summer, the flowers and plants were beautiful!

Yokosuka's firework festival

Hi,how are you?
Today is a special day.

Why?
Because today is Mike's birthday. Mike, happy birthday!!! I hope you enjoy your birthday.

By the way, I went to Yokosuka base to see fireworks. I go to see them every year. Before starting fireworks, I could bought pizza that is famous because pizza of Anthony is delicious.

This is Anthony's pizza.


It was delicious. I will buy it at the next time.

At 7:30, the fireworks started. For 1 hours, I could enjoy watching fireworks.

Japanese rainy season

Hi,how are you? I am suffer from the heat of Japanese summer. I can't sleep at nights without the air-conditioner.

Finally ,the rainy season has gone yesterday. This season is so strange. Because of long rain, the prices of vegetables higher now.

By the way, AFC football game was over. Japan couldn't win to Korea. I was sorry.

Anyway, I hope the players of Japan will make efforts.

AFC soccer

I am fine. Today, I went to the library and borrow some book.
Recently, I didn't upload my blog. So I forget some words of English. I feel it is important to keep studying English every day. I decide to write the articles every day.

By the way, AFC asian soccer is hold now.

Japanese team lost at the game of　Saudi Arabia. Before the game, I thought Japan might lose because that Saudi Arabia is strong. It became true.



Japan will play at the game against Korea. Koreas is strong. Anyway, I am looking forward to watching the game of Japan vs Korea.

Spending a time with my brother

Hi,How are you? I am fine. I had gone to my brother's home and i couldn't upload my blog.
We went to Spanish restaurant and Okinawa food etc. I must get some weights. By the way, I watched some movie at his home. - Pirates of the Caribbean at worlds end Good!!!! I like Jonny Depp. When I watched the last of the movie, I laught at the character of Jonny Depp. I think not only children but also adults enjoy this movie. - Kinky Boots I really wanted to watch this movie. This movie is based the true story. I could feel England while watching the movie and the story & cast are good. Nice movie!!! I will write about the football of AFC Asian Cup 2007.

New shopping builuding "Tokyo midtown"

A few days ago, I went to Roppongi. Last year, new shopping spot "Tokyo midtown" was built. At first, all of people had gone to there. You know I don't like crowded people. So I didn't go to there a few days ago.



Actually,there are a lot of shops(but too expensive) in there.

But I prefer to Roppongi hills because there are plants and gardens in there. Do you want to go to Tokyo midtown?

Cafe&Japanese food "Okinawa dishes"

Yesterday, I went to the nice cafe "Cafe Yuitto" of Shinjyuku. There are a lot of books in there. I could relax and read the book. Then I went to the restaurant of Okinawa food. Okinawa food is so different. For example,goya chanpuru,Okinwa's soba etc.

I ate goya chanpuru.



About 5 years ago, Okinawa food has been popular in Japan.Because Okinawa food is so healthy.

Volver of Pedro Almodóvar

Yes, I finally watched the movie "Volver" of Pedro Almodóvar 3 days ago!!!

I wanted to watch this movie since last year.(Ba knows it.hahaha)

After watching this movie, I repect Pedro Almodóvar.He is great. Of course, all of the cast of this movie were excellent.

Mothers's loves.

Especially,Penelope Cruz's performance is so good.She played as a character of strong and kind,beautiful mother.

I like the song of Volver. I will try the lyric of English on the net. When I try to sleep, I keep listening to this song now. I like the scene that Penelope song this song. I felt that she is strong and kind as a mother of this movie.


I think this movie is so great!!!

Good movies

Hi! I am sorry. I didn't upload my blog.

I enjoyed watching movies and reading books because my doctor said that I had to stop using PC for a while...

Anyway, I am better.

Before, X told me that the movie "The Departed" was good and I finally watched it.





To tell the truth, I didn't like Leonardo Dicaprio before watching this movie. But I changed. His play was so excellent. Of course, other cast and the director were so wonderful.

Then I watched the movie "Kinky Boots".This movie was so funny and I was impressed.



By the way, finally,the movie that I am looking forward to watching it will be released on this Sat in Japan.

Yes,it is "Volver" of my favorite director is Pedro Almodóvar.



Ba told me about story last year. I can't wait for watching it.

Keep taking a rest

I didn't update my blog at all. I had a reason....

I have gone to the hospital once a week since last year. Then I have been checking the blood test. 2 month ago, the result of blood test was better and I started working. But the result was worse when I went to the hopistal on this Monday. The doctor said that I have to take a rest again...

Before testing the blood test, it was true I felt dizzy and had heavy headache...Anyway, I don't work now. So I try taking a rest.

While taking a rest, I watched some movies. I will write about them later.

Depression

I don't want to write about sad. But I want to know the other countries's situations. So I am writing about depression of the sick.

I have a friend. She has been suffering from depression for a few years.

Yesterday, I got the email from her. She decided to quit the job in order to fix up the depression. In Japan, the number of people who suffer from depression for a few years is increasing. Some of them killed by themselves in Japan. Japanese government tried to solve them. But it doesn't work well.

In addition, it is true that people who are suffer from the depression of the sick are subject to discrimination and prejudice in Japan.

And it isn't common to go to counselors for Japanese.

I heard that the price of counselors is too expensive because Japanese assurance doesn't allow.

I am sorry that she has to quit the her job. Because she loves her job.

I know that health is most important.

But she has to give up her job because of the depression?

After I got the email, I called her and we talked about her. While talking with her, I could understand her suffer and I felt so sad.

If the companies and Japanese understand depression of the sick , she must not decide to quit the job that she loves.

Please tell me about the depression of the sick in your countries.

I can't understand why some of Japanese and companies don't try to understand the depression of the sick and some of people who suffer from depression have to be subject to discrimination and prejudice.

The movie "Mushishi" & my brain

Yes. I had been waiting for watching the movie "Mushishi".



A few days ago, I could watch the movie "Mushishi". The image of the movie was almost same as anime. I like the movie's version of Mushishi.

By the way, I am making programs at my office. Sometimes, I want to run out from my office because of bugs. But I can't...

When I don't deal with my bugs, X or others sometimes make me laugh. I really thank for them.

People of other company often make programs. But at this time, it isn't different. I have to make programs and do test until releasing. Because my company wants to down cost.

hahaha.funny.

Recently,I didn't make programs. So I forgot some things. But I could remember them while making programs.

I think making program by my self may make my brain strong.

Going to the Chinatown of Yokohama

On 3th of May, my family left Odaiba and went to the hotel of Ichigaya. My father slept in the room because he was tired. So my mother and brother and I enjoyed talking and watching the football game until my father woke up.

It was 8 pm when my father woke up. So we decided to have a dinner. We went to Japanese restaurant and ate a lot of dishes while drinking beer. After 2 hours, we went back to the hotel and went to sleep.

On 4th of May, we got up at 8 am and have a breakfast. After taking a rest, we got on the car. Of course, my brother drove the car because I don't have a car license. Anyway, we decided to go to Chinatown of Yokohama.



It was almost 12 am when we arrived at Chinatown. There were a lot of people. So we walked around china town and had a lunch. After then, we decided to leave China town because there were many peple and my father had to drive for 6 hours.

My brother drove the car and we talked a lot. Then we went to the cafe because I didn't want to leave my parents and I missed them. We took a rest at the cafe and drank tea while talking.

Then my brother went to the highway and we left. When I said "Good by" fo my parents, I shed my tears. I am still child.

Anyway, I really enjoyed spending time with my family. Good holidays!

Odaiba of Tokyo

I want to write my holidays with my family. My parents arrived at Tokyo at 5 am of 3th of May. Then they went to my little brother's apartment. My little brother and I heard that my parents would arrived at Tokyo at 9 am. So we still slept when they arrived at Tokyo.

So my little brother got up at 5 am when my mother visited his apartment. Of course me too. He drove the car instead of my father because my father had kept driving the car for 7 hours and my father was tired. I slept 6 am when they come to my apartment.

Anyway, we could meet!!! Then we went to the restaurant in order to have a breakfast and the stores etc was not opened yet. We talked for 3 hours at the restaurant and we decided to go to Odaiba. There are beaches and oceans,Fuji TV Building, stores etc in Odaiba. After 1 hours, we arrived at Odaiba. There were a lot of people when we arrived at Odaiba! At first, we went to Fuji TV Building. we watched the TV studios and we could watch some Japanese actor!!!



Then we had a lunch at Italian restaurant.




We maybe ate too much... But the foods were very delicious and we could see the ocean and feel the wind while having a lunch.

After the lunch, we decided to get on the ship. While waiting the time of ship, I went to the beach and fond shells and got some shells. It was very fun!


We got on the ship and enjoyed seeing a view of Tokyo bay for 1 hour. We could feel the wind of the ocean and see the people who enjoyed fishing! It was very wonderful.

If you have a chance to go to Odaiba, you will be able to feel the nature.

Meeting my parents and a brother

Well, I just came back to my apartment 1 hour ago. In Japan, long holidays has started since last week. It is called "Golden week".

I and my brother often go to Nagoya while this holidays. But it was different at this time. Because my parents came to Tokyo by the car. They left from Nagoya at 4 pm of 2th of May and they arrived at Tokyo at 4 am. My father had to keep driving a car for 6 hours without any sleep. Anyway, we enjoyed holidays. I will write about it later.

Japanese director "Ichikawa Kon"

You know some of Japanese movie director. For example, Ozu, Kurosawa, Kinoshita etc. Do you know one Japanese director "Kon Ichikawa"? He made a lot of nice movies. When I was a child, I couldn't watch his movie of Kindaichi's serices. Because I was scared and I couldn't sleep at all because of feeling fear. But for 3 day, I has been watching his movies of Kindaichi's stories. I like "Akuma no temari-uta".


They were so good. The stories and all of casts were excellent. They were old movies. But now, I can enjoy watching movies because they are interesting. The main character "Kindaichi" was a detective. He solved difficult crimes. The stories were very deep. If you find them, you may enjoy Japanese old movies.

Korean movie "JSA"

Have you ever watched Korean movies?

You know that I like Korean movies and dramas so much.And I sometimes watch the movies about wars.

Today, I watched Korean movie "JSA" again.



I think that the movie is one of my favorite Asian movie about the war. The story was about 4 people. 2 solider were north Korean. The other was south Korean. One soldier whom Lee Byung-hun played as met north Korean soldier by one accident. Then they started meeting in the midnight and enjoyed talking. I know that it is so worst to do that in the international govenrment point.

But I like this movie so much although the story was very sad. Anyway, I recommend this movie. I think that this movie is so excellent.

Metting frinds & sleeping

Today, I have to make some document of new project. It is difficult that everyone understand the system.Anyway, I will keep doing it tomorrow.

By the way, I met my favorite friends at the night of Saturday. We wanted to eat Thailand food. So I left my apartment at 6:30 and arrived at the place where we were waiting for. Then we went to the restaurant and enjoy talking and eating for 4 hours!!!!

I like talking about something and listening to other person's talks. I could really relax with them.

We plan to have a dinner at the next time and go to the firework of Yokosuka in the summer. Of course, I will talk about it after that.

Then after coming back to my apartment at 12pm, I couldn't watch at all. So I watched the movie "Rocky" on TV for the first time. I had never watched it before. Well, it was good. After watching it, I found Korean movies and dramas and kept watching them until the morning. Of course, I slept all day on Sunday.it was waste of the time?

But I needed sleeping on Sunday. If I didn't any sleep on Sunday, I might take a day off although I have to upload the date of DB.

Crowded people

Yesterday, I went to Shibuya after work. I often think there are a lot of people in Shibuya and I often took someone while walking in Shibuya.

In the past, I liked Shibuya when I was young. Because there are a lof of cool shops and cafes etc in Shibuya.

But I recently don't like crowded people. I may walk slower than other. I prefer nature places. Anyway, I watched the movie "The Holiday". I like all of the this movie's actress and actors. The story was nice. While watching the movie, I really thought I wanted to go to England.

After the movie, I could enjoy eating dinner. Yesterday was a good day for me.

Gap between rich people and poor people in Japan

Since last year, the media said that gap between rich people and poor people in Japan.

Many documentary TV programs about gap between rich people and poor people were broadcasted.
In 1991, Japanese ecomony was worst. Many of young people coudln't to enter the companies because the companies wanted to cost down.

I was shocked that young people can't work as employees and they have to work as part time jobs or temporary. So they can't get money to live. For example, money to rent the apartments. They looks for the jobs every day and they stay at Manga cafes because they don't have money to rent appartments. So they sleep at Manga cafes every night. What do you think?

Is Japan rich??? I don't think so.

Because they don't have any dreams.It is so sad. No hope...

I think everyone need hopes.

I think Japanese government and companies have to change.

Saving money

2 days ago, I have been preparing a lunch box and I eat it at my office.

Before, I bought instant noodle and ate them. But I want to save money. So I decided to make lunch box.

Menu is so simple.For example, Onigiri, baked or boild eggs, salada. I will keep preparing a lunch box.

The holidays of next month

Yesterday, I got a call from my father. He asked me to reserve the rooms of the hotel on next month's holidays "Golden week". He had bought a new car last month and he will come to Tokyo by the new car. You know that it is hard to reserve the rooms while the holidays "Golden week".

Anyway, I had to find the hotel!!! So I checked many websites of hotels in order to reserve 2 rooms. After 2 hours, I finally could find the website to reserve. We won't need to stay and sleep in the car because I could reserve 2 rooms. We don't decide to do where we go yet. But I hope my family will enjoy together next month.

LOST season3

I went to my brother's home on the weekend. Then we kept watching 13 episode of "LOST season3". By the way, I started working today. A lot of email....
After work, I will buy a new plant. Of course, I will display it on my desk of the office. When I am at my office, I will be able to relax by the plant.

Shiokara and wine

Do you know Japanese food "Shiokara"?

I especially like shiokara of Cuttlefish. It is easy to make it. So I sometimes buy a Cuttlefish and make shiokara.

I like to eat shiokara while drinking wine. It is very good taste.
If you want to try to make it after reading this website, you will be able to eat shiokara.

My new plant "mints"

You know that I love herbs.
Today, I bought the new plant "Mints".

The smell of it is so good. I put the leaves of mint into the tea.

I'd like to buy other herbs and feel nature in Tokyo.

U.S.-Japan Friendship Yokosuka Cherry Blossom Festival

Recently, I didn't upload my blog.

Today, I went to Yokosuka. Because there was a festival of Cherry blossoms in the US Naval Base. I left my home at 10 am. Then I arrived at Yokosuka and walked to US Naval Base for 15 mins. After that, I entered into US Naval Base. There are a lot of cherry blossoms in there. They were very beautiful.





Of course, there were a lot of food stalls in there.

This is a famous pizza shop "Antnony's pizza".





A lot of people bought them. But you have to keep standing up for at least 1hours in order to buy them.

Before, I have been to US Naval Base in order to see fireworks festivals 3 times.

I really enjoyed seeing beautiful cherry blossoms. I like Yokosuka so much because there are the ocean and some beautiful parks in Yokosuka. So I may leave my appartment and live in Yokosuka. Anyway, I could feel the wind and smell of the ocean, fresh air and enjoyed the festival.

The movie I want to watch

I didn't write about my life for some days because my pc didn't work... So I had to install the software.

The movie "Little Miss Sunshine"

Today is St Patrick's day. There are The parades of Omotesando in Tokyo since 1992. At night of yesterday, I had plan to go and see the parade. But I didn't go and see it today because I had waked up until 4 am and slept until 3 pm. I was stupid...

Anyway, I'd like to see the parade of St Patrick's day someday.

Today,I watched the movie "Little miss sunshine" after downloading it.

Since last year, I wanted to watch it.



The story was about one family who lived in albuquerque of America.The daughter wanted to attend the beauty contest and she tried to go to the contest from her house with her family by the almost broken yellow car. They had some troubles and they met the some funny accidents before the beauty contest. Then they started changing while going to the contest. All of her family started banding together so that they wanted her to attend the beauty contest. The character of the grandfather's words were good.

After watching it, I think that happiness is not money. It is different for everyone. If you lose something, you just look for other something. Life is sometimes difficult. But we can learn from suffering and lose and we can enjoy our lives and we have people who support us. In addition, I felt that family is most important after watching it. I think the movie "Little miss sunshine" is a wonderful movie.

Special Event of England

I went to Tokyo station with my mom at 10 am and we arrived at Marubiru. Because there was a special event of England "England's happiness" in Marunouchi.

I looked forward to going to this event since last week.

Why?

Because the wonderful and famous chef in the Cotswolds "Mr.Rob Rees" would talk about England in there. Once,I didn't know about him before Mike told me about him.

I could heard Rob Rees's talking. He talked about the Cotswolds and England food for 1 hour. His talking was very interesting and I really think that I'd like to eat his cooking someday.



After his talking, I could get an autograph from Mr.Rees.



Today, we really could enjoy this event!!!

"Fula girl" and "The letter"

By the way, I watched 2 movies. They were very wonderful. - "fula girl"


Once, I wrote about this movie. This movie is a true story.

In 1965, Iwaki-shi, Fukushima was a town of a coal mine, but an energy source turned from coal into oil, and closing a mountain continued. Many people dismissed. They couldn't make money for the families. It was sightseeing that a coal mine company had its eyes on the crisis. Some of them were trying to make it in Iwaki-shi with recreation institution "Joban Hawaiian Center". The eyeball was a stage of hula, but it is daughters of an amateur that gathered for the dancer recruitment. Them of Iwate invited a professional dancer as a dancing master from Tokyo, but do not mean she made a fool of the country, and to teach it. However, it is gradually moved a heart by intentness of daughters. At first, daughters didn't know how to dance fula. But them and the teacher tried to master dance in order to save their hometomn. Finally, "Joban Hawaiian Center" made and they were success. now. While watching this movie, I laughed and I was very impressed.I love this movie.I would like to watch this movie again.

Koji murdered a woman because he wanted to make money for the university of a younger brother.
Koji jailed and his brother had to work although he was 15 years old. Their parents had died years ago.
His brother wandered work from place to place, and was rejected by a lover, and even a dream has been smashed because Koji's crime.
Everyone said that He is a killer's brother. He had to put up with all of society. But Koji didn't know about his life.

Finally,his brother decided to do one thing. Farewell party

At the night of yesterday, I left my home at 5:15 pm and I arrived at Shinjyuku station. Then I waited for the friends of college. After 10 mins, I met them and we went to Japanese restaurant "Yamachan". This restaurant is famous as "Tebasaki(chicken wing)".

I didn't eat a lot of food. But I drank a lot of beer while talking with my frineds.I really had a good time with them. When it was 12 am, we decided to go home. Although I am not better, it was worth to have dinner with them.

And I wish that my friend will start his new life well in his hometown.

Meeting my frined

I couldn't get up at all because I had a terrible headache again for a few days. Now, I have a still headache. So I will take a rest.

By the way, I met my friend at night's of Friday. We talked together while drinking tea. I really enjoyed talking with her. She worried about me. I think that friends are important and my treasure.

Next week, I will meet my friends of the college and attend the farewell party because one friend will leave Tokyo and go back to his hometown. I meet them a few times a year. So I really felt sad when I heard that he will leave Tokyo. I won't be able to meet him in Tokyo since next year. Anyway,I hope his new life in his hometown will be fine.

Warm winter

The weather of Japan is strange in this year.

For example, it had snowed on Dec or Jan.

But this year is different. We have an abnormally warm winter this year.

Of course, the trains or bus etc will stop if it has been snowing in Tokyo. So we may be lucky. But I think that this is　a phenomenon of global warming.

According to the weather news, the cherry blossoms of Japan will be in full bloom on March.

Japanese funny movie "Tsuribaka nisshi"

I went to the supermarket because there weren't any food in my home. Then I found the heads of fishes and I bought them again.



I will cook "Arani" again. Sometimes, I put heads of fishes into miso soup.

After shopping, I watched Japanese funny film "Tsuribaka nisshi". This film's main character is one man who love to fish. He prefer fishing to working. So he tries to take holidays in order to go to fishing. His character is very funny. I think that some of Japanese think that they would like to do like him because some of Japanese don't enjoy lives and they don't have hobbies. This film is very famous and many people saw this film. So new movies are kept making for now.

If you see this film, you may be able to understand Japanese companies and workers.

Eating the haed of fishes

Could you eat the eyes and heads of fishes?

I like "Buri-arani" so much. Ara means that head of a fish,stomach body, a middle bone with the body. So I sometimes cook it. I especially like eyes and head of it. They are very delicious.

Is it strange? In Japan, there are heads of fishes at the supermarkets. They are not expensive. So I cooked "Buri-arani". It is easy to cook. At first, I put heads of buri into hot water and put soy sauce and sugar into them. After boil 20 mins, I can eat it.

The movie "Ashita no kioku(Memories of Tomorrow)"

Yesterday,I watched Japanese film "Ashita no kioku(Memories of Tomorrow)". Ken Watanabe was actor and producer as this film. A few days ago, Japanese movie show was held in Japan. Then Ken watanabe got a win as the best actor of this film.

The story is about one man who was suffer from Alzheimer. He had a wife and a daughter. His life changed after becoming Alzheimer. His wife helped him. But he thought he didn't want to forget everything. The last of this film was very sad. But there are people who are suffer from Alzheimer. I thought about Alzheimer after watching this film and married couple. I think this was so good and Ken Watanabe's performance was excellent.

I like Ken watanabe. The movies that I like are "Tampopo" of Itami's director and "The Last Samurai" etc.





I'd like to watch his new movie "Letters from Iwo Jima" someday.

Shopping with the duck

I have to buy some foods if I want to eat something. But sometimes, I don't want to go out in order to buy some foods. If I have this duck, I will like shopping.

Coming back my mother

Yesterday, my mother came back to Nagoya. I missed her. By the way, I wrote about my trip of Penang.

While my mother & I got on the train to Tokyo station yesterday, we decided to go to Penang again.

Today,I am better because I don't keep looking at websites for many times. So I don't have a terrible headache. So I will try to read books or watch films.

"Giri chocolate" of St Valentines day

Only Japanese.

Today is st.Valentainday. In Japan, women buy expensive chocolate and they send men them. I know that it is a only custom of Japan and I can understand that women send men whom women love chocolate. But I can't understand one thing.

What is it?

Do you know about "Giri choco" of Japan?

It means that Chocolate given to men whom women don't feel special love are called "giri (obligation)-choco (chocolate)." So women that send men (for example, co-workers etc) buy a lot of chocolate and women send men cheap chocolate.

Funny.

I don't buy Giri chocolate and I don't wan to buy them for men whom I don't like. I want to send a man whom I love nice chocolate or other things.

Japanese food"Chanko"

I am better because I took a rest all day long. By the way, I met friends and had a dinner at Japanese restaurant "Chankoya You". Do you know about Japanese food "Chanko"? "Chanko nabe" is a dish of Sumo wrestler’s eat. To tell the truth, I had never eaten it before. But it was very delicious. we could enjoy talking and eating delicious food.

Not good....

While I stayed in Penang, I was very fine. I could enjoyed swimming and parasailing etc. But now, I have a terrible headache and I feel dizzy since 2 days ago. I don't know why I have a terrible headache and I feel dizzy. So I am taking a rest & taking medicines.... I really hate my terrible headache. I can't do anything because of heavy pain. But I will go to Shinjyuku in order to have a dinner with frinends. So I have been taking a rest until tonight. I don't write my wonderful trip of Penang yet. I will write about it because I would like you to know that Penang is a good place. Anyway, I will try to take a rest.

Heavy headache

After coming back to my home, I am a little tired. In addition, I had a heavy headache since yesterday. I couldn't sleep because a heavy headache. Although I took medicines.
So I went to the hospital today. I said to the doctor that I had a heavy headache and I couldn't do anything because of the headache. The doctor asked me how was my headache.
Then he tell me that you had a headache because of the visual fatigue and profound fatigue. My headache was the migraine headache.Yeas, I might enjoyed Penang a lot of. Anyway, The doctor said to me that the pain of heavy headache disappear soon if you make an injection. So I made an injection and took a rest for 10mins. After 10 mins, I didn't feel any pain of my headache. I couldn't believe.
Then the doctor said to me that you will go to here and you have to make a injection, if you feel the same headache. Anyway, I was lucky because the pain disappear.

Coming Back to Japan from Penang

How are you?

I am fine.

I arrived in the Narita international Airport from Malaysia. Then I came back to my home at 10 am. Now, I am a littele tired because I had to sleep at the airplane for 5 hours.

Anyway, The trip of Penang was very wonderful. I really could enjoy Penang. I will write about my trip of Penang soon.

Yes, I did again.

Parasailing.

The prise was RM35(1200 yen). I think it isn't expensive.













Of course, I was afraid of doing parasailing before.But it was very exciting. If you do parasailing, you can see wonderful sky and ocean,mountains, etc.

My trip of Penang #6 The festival "Thaipusam"

I looked forward to seeing the festival "Thaipusam" .This day of penance and thanksgiving for Hindu devotees is held in honour of Lord Muruga or Lord Subramaniam. The festival is best experienced in Kuala Lumpur where the deity's jeweled chariot is led in a mass procession through the streets of the city, culminating at the Batu Caves in Selangor. An unforgettable sight is the thousands of devotees in a trance-like state carrying body-piercing kavadis or ornate frames. Thaipusam is celebrated on a big scale in Selangor, Penang, Melaka, Johor and Perak. After getting on the taxi from Penang's museum, we arrived in the place of festival.Already, there were a lot of people in there.

The women were so beautiful.


There were stalls in there and we walked the street and enjoyed seeing all of the festival for 2 hours. After that, we got on the taxi and went back to the hotel. Then I enjoyed swimming in the pool and reading the book. I think it was good to go the festival. If I didn't talk with one woman, I couldn't see the festival. I thank her so much. My trip of Penang #5 Going around Gerogetown

After waking at 7 am, I and my mother had a breakfast. Then we went to Gerogetown by Taxi. The price of Taxi was RM45(about 1575yen). After 30 hours, we saw the Clock tower.

This Victoria Memorial Clock Tower was donated by Cheah Chen Eok, a wealthy Penang citizen, in 1897 on th occasion of the diamond jubilee of Queen Victoria's reign. The 60ft-high (18.3m) clock tower--symbolising 60 years of the Queen's reign--was only completed in 1902 when she had passed away. The tower cost 35,000 Straits Dollars to build. During World War II, bombs dropped on King Edward Place and caused the clock tower to tilt slightly. Rule Brittania!

After seeing it, we went to St George's Church and Penang museum.


Penang's museum was very good because I could know the history of Penang. Then we got on the taxi in order to see one festival near botanical garden. I will write about one festival later.
